1928 school

In 1928, the school board petitioned for consolidation of the school district, and to vote on a proposition of issuing bonds in the amount of $75,000 for purchasing the new school house site and erecting a building thereon.  On March 12 the bond issue was voted upon and  carried by a vote of 225-170.

In March 1929, the new brick school building was occupied.  The school board was authorized to sell the old school house site and building thereon.  The old building was torn down and the brick and lumber was used to build two houses on the same site.
