The Vocational Agriculture building was constructed from one of the prisoner of war buildings at Clarinda that cost $86.  Disassembling began in June and the building was moved to its present location west of the main building (on the north-side of Lincoln St) and reassembled by Orlan Gilbert.  The Vo-Ag boys made tables for the building as their first project.  A room on the east side was reserved for vocational homemaking.  The first Vo-Ag instructor was Harold Penwell.  In December, the Stoney Point Chapter (F.F.A.) was organized with 40 members.  The name was taken from the hill north of Farragut.  The total cost of construction and facilities was about $48,000

(repurposed yet again, it remains today as an apartment building)
